Job Summary
Support daily living activities, personal care, and hygiene for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while coaching independent living skills and community integration. Follow person-centered plans, assist with medications per policy, and maintain a clean, safe environment adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicate professionally with individuals served, families, and team members, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all care provided. This role offers paid training, ongoing professional development, and a supportive team culture with growth opportunities. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CA driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Auto insurance
- Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check (Live Scan)
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Current CPR/First Aid and TB/health screening
- Ability to assist with transfers
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in Fair Oaks/Sacramento/Rancho Cordova/Elk Grove/Natomas
- Typical availability (mornings/days/evenings/overnights/weekends)
- Comfort with providing personal care
