Job Summary
Conduct overnight home care shifts for clients with spinal cord injuries from 7pm to 7am, Monday through Wednesday. Operate Hoyer lifts and assist with lifting and transferring as needed. Provide comprehensive non-medical care to individuals in the North County area, with a strong preference for those having prior experience with spinal cord injury clients. Maintain required TB clearance and COVID vaccination status, and ensure reliable transportation for all duties. This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility with competitive hourly pay, 401(k) matching, health insurance, and paid orientation and training.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Home Health Aide
- Reliable Transportation
- Lifting/Transferring (as needed)
- Experience with operating Hoyer Lift
- Caregiving: 1 year
- Hoyer lift: 1 year
- Home Care Aide Registration
Desired Qualifications
- COVID Vaccinated (preferred)
- TB Clearance (within 90 days or within 7 days after hire)
- Experience with Spinal Cord Injury (Highly preferred)
