Job Summary
Conduct Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia services at Banner Desert Medical Center, a tertiary referral center serving the East Valley. Manage 6 weeknight call shifts and 3 weekend call shifts per quarter, with a schedule allowing up to 12 weeks of time off. Maintain BC/BE status, hold an unrestricted Arizona license, and possess Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification. Perform procedures eligible for a $50,000 cardiac stipend prorated to FTE, plus an additional $1,000 per pediatric CVOR procedure up to a $25,000 annual maximum.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Anesthesiologist
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesia
- Unrestricted AZ license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to obtain AZ DEA license
- Current Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography Certification
- 6 weeknight call shifts and 3-weekend call shifts per quarter
- Schedule allows for up to 12-weeks Time-Off
