Job Summary
Complete opening and closing duties, serve beverages and concessions, and process customer payments while maintaining an exceptional guest experience aligned with Marbles procedures. Effectively communicate scheduling, equipment, and inventory issues to your manager, supervise the theater team in the absence of the Theater Manager, and provide support and training for Theater Hosts. Ensure all equipment functions properly by checking temperatures, clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, work areas, lobby, and seating, and stock self-service stations. Execute the Marbles Emergency Action Plan confidently during emergencies and perform all other duties assigned by the manager. This role requires weekday evening and weekend availability, including late nights and holidays, with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience, particularly with families and young children
- At least six months of Theater or Retail experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age with the ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to maintain a helpful, friendly, and playful demeanor in a busy environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to establish goals, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Weekday evenings and weekend availability preferred
- This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, late nights, and holidays
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally using a ladder, and going up and down stairs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-sale and inventory software (Shopify and Tessitura experience preferred)
- Experience leading or supervising a team preferred
