Job Summary
Transport imaging patients of all age populations throughout the hospital, maintain transport equipment, and contribute to the efficient operation of the department. Observe professional ethics regarding patient confidentiality and follow accepted safety practices for both patients and the hospital, reporting any hazards and initiating appropriate action. Assess data reflective of patients' current status in relation to their age-specific needs while demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles. Maintain Basic CPR certification upon hire. High school graduation required with hospital or medical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Basic CPR
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development
- Must demonstrate ability to assess data reflective of the patient's current status in relation to their age specific needs
