Job Summary
Imaging Technologist I (PRN Alternating) performs radiographic procedures and uses ionizing radiation to render diagnostic-quality images. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine protocols, assists with training students and technologists, and performs injection procedures. Manages imaging for infant through geriatric patients, prioritizes safety and efficiency, and maintains clear communication with patients to ensure comfort. ACR/HFAP/ISBOH/IDPH/IEMA-related duties, equipment restocking and room preparation, and teaming with physicians on patient issues to determine appropriate imaging protocols are expected. Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Radiography (ARRT-R) - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- State Radiographer Operator License
- Indiana licensure within 180 days
- Radiology Student Permit (as required by state)
