IMAGING TECHNICAL AIDE

Coordinate patient flow for imaging services by transferring patients to and from imaging areas. Prepare patients for procedures by dressing them, connecting them to EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry monitoring, and explaining consent forms or MRI questionnaires. Assist licensed technologists in positioning patients, advancing catheters, and manipulating digital imaging equipment under supervision. Establish sterile fields, disinfect exam rooms, and maintain all departmental equipment and supplies. Respond to physician requests using appropriate anatomy terminology and protocols while serving as an inter-departmental communication resource for appointment reminders and pre/post instructions.
