Job Summary
Maintain uniform department operations by processing paperwork, maintaining records, and performing exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Assist radiologists and attending physicians, communicate effectively, and demonstrate proper equipment care to keep the environment clean and safe. Reflect a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and employees. Complete clinical competency with an affiliate Radiology Program (GSCC or WSCC), finish at least one semester rotation or in-service with a Registered Technologist, and hold current CPR certification. Shifts vary and are PRN.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a clinical competency, in training and in good standing with the Radiology Program at an affiliate school of Radiology. (GSCC or WSCC).
- Should be certified in CPR.
Desired Qualifications
- Students should have completed at least one semester clinical rotation in this department or be willing to complete an in-service with one of our Registered Technologist before beginning a weekend shift.
