Job Summary
Process and manage clerical, computer information systems, and support functions including outpatient admissions, order entry, and exam scheduling. Import and export medical images into PACS, handle document scanning and film file room operations, and manage phone/fax communication of results. Provide general clerical support across imaging departments, assist with patient transportation, and deliver technical or patient-related support as assigned. Requires BLS certification for provider duties and strong keyboard skills for navigating electronic systems. Located at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required for those assigned patient care duties
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in radiology and/or related medical field preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
