Job Summary
Process and manage data for outpatient admissions, order entry, and exam scheduling. Import and export medical images into PACS, handle document scanning, and manage film file room operations. Coordinate phone and fax communications for results while providing general clerical support across imaging departments. May assist with patient transportation and perform technical or patient-related support duties as assigned. Requires BLS certification for provider duties. Located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required for those assigned patient care duties
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in radiology and/or related medical field preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
