Job Summary
Greet and assist patients throughout their imaging visits while scheduling appointments and answering phones. Register patients, verify information, collect copayments, and maintain records and imaging reports within EPIC. Support physicians, patients, and staff with imaging documentation and requests, and perform general clerical and administrative duties. This role is part of the Radiology team at Good Samaritan University Hospital, a 537-bed teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center on Long Island.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare office experience
- EPIC experience
