Job Summary
Perform image quality review and processing for DXA studies per protocol and Core Lab requirements. Conduct technical assessments of clinical sites to ensure compliance with imaging standards. Provide guidance to site personnel on acquisition protocols and submission procedures. Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to support study objectives. Monitor workflows and support blinded read activities while identifying and escalating image quality issues. Maintain accurate documentation to support audit readiness and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Participate in occasional travel to research sites and support activities outside standard business hours when required.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Radiographer, Radiologic Technologist, Imaging Technologist, or equivalent recognized imaging qualification
- Demonstrated hands-on experience performing and reviewing DXA (DEXA) imaging studies
- Strong understanding of DXA imaging principles, image acquisition techniques, and image quality assessment
- Knowledge of body composition analysis and bone densitometry procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate image quality against protocol requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and imaging-related software platforms
- Experience with image management systems and electronic image transfer platforms
- English level Advanced
- Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, Core Laboratory environments, or regulated healthcare settings
