Imaging Services Intern

Imaging Services Intern performs radiographic imaging procedures under the supervision of a licensed Radiologic Technologist and radiology leadership to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities include assisting with radiology procedures, selecting exposure factors, operating radiology equipment (including mobile units), maintaining patient safety and comfort, and providing patient-centered care across age groups from neonate to geriatric. Demonstrates ability to read and communicate effectively in English, basic computer skills, and adherence to patient care quality standards in Mercy’s mission-driven environment. This internship requires current enrollment in a School of Radiologic Technology and active BLS certification; the position emphasizes clinical training, teamwork, and a fast-paced, collaborative hospital setting.
