Job Summary

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diagnostic imaging systems, including installations, de-installations, and preventative upkeep with technical support assistance. Maintain daily customer communications, resolve service delivery issues through root cause analysis, and ensure timely follow-up to drive satisfaction. Manage administrative duties such as work orders, timecards, parts inventory, and electronic expense reports while adhering to FDA and ISO 13485 regulatory standards. Work independently on routine tasks but require support for complex unscheduled repairs, utilizing test equipment like oscilloscopes and diagnostic testers. Travel up to 100% of the time, including overnight and air travel, with readiness for odd hours and overtime as needed. Maintain exceptional customer relations and project a professional image representing HCUS.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of previous field service experience
  • Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance
  • Active listening skills and above average customer service skills
  • Sound organization and administrative skills
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to maintain paperwork to FDA and company required standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Capability to operate test equipment related to job (oscilloscope, meter, and diagnostic testers, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to physically work in high magnetic fields of up to 3 Tesla
  • Ability to push 1000 lbs. patient tables and 600-6000 lbs. MRI cabinets
  • Ability to climb up to 3 steps of a 6-foot ladder
  • Must have valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills
  • Must be reliable and able to work independently
  • Must project a professional image
  • Must be prepared to work odd hours and overtime hours on occasion
  • Must be prepared to travel as required
  • Must be able to work independently on preventative maintenance work
  • Must be able to perform unscheduled maintenance work with the assistance of technical support
  • Must be able to perform installations and de-installations of products and a wide variety of peripheral equipment as directed with some assistance
  • Must maintain timely and effective communications with management team to escalate issues and customer concerns
  • Must be able to maintain customer service orders and internal service records per Fujifilm policies
  • Must be able to maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
  • Must be able to utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues
  • Must be able to conduct root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving
  • Must ensure that all administrative duties and paperwork are completed neatly, accurately, and submitted promptly
  • Must comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements
  • Must comply with applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements
  • Must comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties
  • Must be willing to test for the COVID-19 virus periodically
  • Must be willing to wear a face covering indoors as required
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
