Job Summary
Imaging Operator 3 responsible for operating high resolution proprietary imaging equipment, programming and preparing printing jobs, maintaining daily print job production logs and delivery manifests, setting up, programming and releasing jobs from the print queue, adjusting image position, color quality and resolution, and monitoring output quality. Requires advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet imaging equipment, color theory, file manipulation, and the ability to diagnose and correct issues to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities also include ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and potentially instructing junior operators to perform corrective adjustments. All employment offers are contingent upon successful pre-employment background and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill
- Ability to setup, operate, and adjust equipment and diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness
- Advanced knowledge of color theory and ability to adjust colors to customer specifications
- Excellent knowledge of file manipulation and file formats for digital print
- Knowledge of feed rollers, tensioning, timing and in-line finishing per job specifications
- Ability to instruct junior operators on corrective adjustments
- Willingness to adhere to EEO guidelines
