Job Summary
Support and perform nursing functions for Cardiac CT procedures in accordance with established SOPs, including preparing patients for exams, administering cardiac medications, and starting IVs for contrast agents. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the exam process. Collaborate with CT technologists and providers to maintain efficient workflow and accurate EMR documentation. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling with no call or overnights, situated within Precision Imaging Centers' outpatient-only setting in Northeast Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Imaging Nurse or CT-certified nurse with Cardiac CT experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience administering cardiac medications and monitoring cardiac patients
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills
