Job Summary
Lead CT Technologist activities include performing computed tomography procedures, positioning and immobilizing patients, administering IV injections and contrast agents, and assisting radiologists with biopsies and drainage procedures. You will maintain proper staffing levels, assign calls, and ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance for the CT department. Daily duties involve assuring image quality, confirming patient data, performing timeouts, and utilizing CT IT systems including Radiant and PACS. This role requires 40 scheduled weekly hours in days/afternoons shifts at Kings Mills Hospital. The position supports the diagnostic imaging mission of Mercy Health, a healthcare organization committed to compassionate patient care and community service.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Diagnostic Radiology
- Advanced modality registration in CT
- State Licensure
- 1 year experience as CT or Rad Tech

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute
- 2 years' experience as CT or Rad Tech
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Picture archiving communication system (PACS)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at BSMH)
