Implement radiation protection and safety standards while preparing for and assisting supervising technologists and physicians in various imaging procedures. Administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage zones. Requires BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire and high school diploma or enrollment in an accredited imaging program.
