Imaging Informatics Analyst III

Job Summary
Analyze business requirements, configure application settings, and perform system testing for critical imaging applications. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors and development teams to resolve routine and complex problems within facility information systems. Maintain documentation, assist with user training, and coordinate service requests through the Enterprise Help Desk. Oversee PACS, RIS, and ancillary imaging software solutions to ensure high performance, integrate technology with Electronic Health Records, and optimize operational workflows. Partner with medical imaging staff to resolve image viewing, transmission, or storage issues, and monitor diagnostic information to ensure optimal quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Technical School degree/certificate or relevant work experience
- Seven to Ten (7-10) years of experience in IT or Informatics working on Ambulatory, Clinical, or Audio/visual applications
- Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Of Nursing or other related healthcare profession (Clinical Applications Support ONLY)
- Three to Five (3-5) years working in a healthcare/medical environment
- The Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) credential, offered by the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII)
