Imaging Geophysicist

Job Summary
Conduct high-resolution 3D subsurface seismic imaging and modeling for clients in the energy and natural resources sector using advanced signal processing and physics-based techniques. Manage complex technical projects with multiple short- and long-term deadlines while building and maintaining long-term client relationships through service excellence. Collaborate with globally diverse teams and clients, demonstrating cultural awareness and effective communication of technical concepts. Develop expertise in signal processing, modelling, and imaging while gaining awareness of wider developments in geoscience and data science. No prior geophysics knowledge is required as comprehensive training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Integrated or postgraduate Masters or PhD in any of the following disciplines: Physics, Mathematics, All Engineering, Geophysics, Astrophysics/Astronomy, Earth Sciences and Natural Sciences with a Physics specialisation
- Exceptional performance at BSc level
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Technical knowledge in an area of applied mathematics or physics
- Enthusiastic and curious attitude towards learning and passion for your subject
- The technical agility to adapt your existing knowledge to a new field
- Ability to communicate technical concepts
- Evidence of leadership, teamwork or customer service from involvement in university societies, extracurricular activities, volunteering or work experience/internships
Desired Qualifications
- No prior knowledge of geophysics is required as we provide all necessary training
