Job Summary
Imaging Engineer II installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and verifies the performance of complex medical imaging equipment including radiographic rooms, R/F, portables, C-arms, mammography, Nuclear Medicine, CR, DR, ultrasound, bone density, and related devices. Maintains regulatory compliance, assists in inventory management, and may mentor others. Works with Philips and/or Siemens Cath/EP Lab systems; engages in performance assurance procedures, service activities, and collaboration with clinicians. Requires a 2-year technical/electronics degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of relevant experience; strong interpersonal and customer-service skills; travel may be required. Required Qualifications
- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years’ experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment
- Valid drivers license; variable travel requirements depending on primary site
