Imaging Clinical Applications Specialist, Texas - Bracco Diagnostics Inc.

Job Summary

Conduct clinical presentations, product evaluations, and consultative interactions to promote Bracco Injector systems and MR products to hospitals and key decision makers. Perform on-label product demonstrations, assemble injector components weighing up to 28 pounds, and observe patients undergoing CT and MRI exams during training. Collaborate with Account Executives to develop territory plans, increase MR market share, and maintain accurate account profiles using company tools. Deliver formal educational presentations, collect case studies, and network at trade shows while managing up to 70% overnight travel and weekend availability for industry events.

Required Qualifications

  • A verifiable BA/BS degree
  • Certified MR Technologist, or Registered CT RT with current license in good standing
  • MRSO
  • Must be a licensed driver without restrictions
  • Must be able to drive a car
  • Must comply with all credentialing obligations, including a 10-panel drug screen
  • Exceptional working knowledge of the MR department, MR Scanners, MR Safety and MRI Contrast, as a MR Registered Technologist, MR Manager, MRSO, or Imaging Department Administrator
  • Working knowledge of Computer Assisted Tomography (CAT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR)
  • Working knowledge of injection systems
  • Working knowledge of IT/IS PACS/RIS connectivity
  • Background and Experience as a MR Registered Technologist, MR Manager, MRSO, or Imaging Department Administrator
  • Subject Matter Expert on all Bracco MR Contrast Agents Package Inserts (BDI products)
  • Subject Matter Expert on all Bracco Injector Systems
  • Expert in image recognition and quality assessment related to MR and CT Contrast agents
  • Working knowledge of Healthcare Economics
  • Understanding of GPO's/IDN's Accountable Care Organizations
  • Understanding of Reimbursement
  • Understanding of Competing modalities
  • Committed to routine use of software/applications for communicating, planning and reporting, that includes account analysis, forecasting, sales activities, travel and entertainment expense reporting
  • Must be able to move various components weighing up to 28 pounds
  • Must be available for up to 70% overnight travel
  • Must be available for some weekend work
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of IT/IS PACS/RIS connectivity is a plus
  • Education: A verifiable BA/BS degree is highly desired
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified MR Technologist, or Registered CT RT with current license in good standing, MRSO preferred
