Imaging Assistant, PRN, Variable Shifts serves as a patient greeter and liaison, assists radiologists and physicians with patient flow, order entry, image/report handling, and coordination of patient transports. Responsibilities include scheduling imaging exams, ensuring accuracy of physician orders, managing imaging data in PACS, retrieving and preparing images/reports for conferences, and supporting after-hours/weekend communication between physicians and staff. Prioritizes patient needs and communicates wait times to enhance patient experience; collaborates to coordinate team coverage and stay informed on departmental updates.
