Job Summary
Conduct patient care under supervision, including transport, history taking, exam preparation, and assisting patients on and off the imaging table. Perform MRI screenings, research implantable devices, and explain procedure delays. Process requisitions, review schedules, retrieve outside images, and control inventory to maintain adequate supply levels. Assist with special projects such as Quality Assurance and Education. Requires high school diploma, computer skills, medical terminology knowledge, and current CPR certification. Offers day/evening shifts with every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Duties require computer skills
- Knowledge of both hospital departmental computer systems
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of office equipment
- Basic knowledge of patient care equipment
- CPR certification within 6 months
- Current CPR certifications within 3 months
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Exemption from vaccination requirement via signed statement
- Weekend and holiday rotation
- Every other weekend rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Additional specialized courses or training
- One year of related work experience in a similar position
