Job Summary
Provide patient care including transport, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with modality-specific duties under the supervision of the Manager, Radiology Clinical Services. Process requisitions, review schedules, assist with image retrieval, and control inventory to maintain adequate supply levels. Explain any procedure delays to patients and support special projects such as Quality Assurance and Education. Requires high school diploma, computer skills, basic medical terminology knowledge, and current CPR certification within three months. Full vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 is required, with exemptions available upon signed statement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Additional specialized courses or training
- Computer skills
- Knowledge of hospital departmental computer systems
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of office equipment
- Basic knowledge of patient care equipment
- CPR certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Exemption from vaccination requirement via signed statement
