Job Summary
Image Processing Engineer III responsible for transitioning prototype image processing and computer vision algorithms into production-ready software. Design and implement robust tracking/localization for multiple visual features in dynamic environments; develop mathematical models for uncertainty estimation and covariance metrics for data fusion filters; create validation protocols to compare algorithms against mission requirements; explore hardware-software integration by evaluating sensor/optical system characteristics (resolution, lens distortion, lighting sensitivity) to guide system-level design; define interfaces and data contracts for integration into larger architectures; collaborate across software and hardware domains to ensure input fidelity for algorithms; require 5+ years of experience in CV/image processing with an advanced degree possibly counting toward experience.
