Image Data Processing Technologist

Job Summary
Perform image data processing tasks such as reconstruction, formatting, anonymisation, and standardisation using validated tools and procedures; conduct quality control checks on imaging data to ensure completeness, protocol adherence, and technical acceptability; collaborate with project teams, imaging scientists, and site personnel to resolve image quality issues and data discrepancies; maintain detailed records of processing activities and ensure traceability in line with regulatory and sponsor requirements; support the setup and validation of imaging workflows, software, and study-specific parameters; contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and data quality in imaging operations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or technical qualification in radiologic technology, biomedical engineering, medical imaging, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with medical imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT, PET, X-ray) in a clinical, research, or imaging core lab environment
- Familiarity with DICOM standards, imaging software tools, and basic image analysis concepts
- High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and data integrity
- Good problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Comfort working with computer-based systems and willingness to learn new imaging platforms and technologies
- Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based
