Job Summary
Image Data Associate responsible for managing clinical imaging data, coordinating image uploads to PACS, ensuring HIPAA/GCP/CFR Part 11 compliance, and acting as escalation point. Performs data retrieval and transmission from EMR/HIS/PACS systems, conducts quality control, and handles image data for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and outside facilities. Uses PowerShare, Etiam, Hermes, and related software to onboard/monitor image-sharing requests, conducts outreach to clinical staff, and maintains accurate recordkeeping of service date, modality, and image counts. Provides excellent customer service via telephone, facsimile, email, and written correspondence; supports training of new team members and adheres to HIPAA guidelines and institute policies. Strong English communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure are required. Located in Boston, with flexibility to travel between imaging locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- No experience required
- Prior IT and customer service experience preferred
