Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer for Avionics Tools leading cross-functional teams across design, development, and verification for both commercial and military programs. Drive RCCA processes, champion Lean methods, mentor the technical community, and ensure inter-operability and reuse through collaboration with design, quality, customer teams, partners, and vendors. Design, create, fix, and review software in C# and Python; communicate with business leaders and stakeholders about critical issues related to valves and actuators; lead RCCA completions and mentor others while guiding technical risk mitigation and engineering excellence in a fast-paced environment. Requires U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Person status and the ability to access export-controlled information. Remote position within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering
- A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience
- This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens
