Job Summary
IM&S Sourcing Specialist (1-Year Contract) based in Malaysia, primarily in Malaysia with up to 10% travel. Responsible for end-to-end procurement activities across IM&S categories for the Malaysia entity, including ICT, Real Estate, Facility & Waste Management, Office, PPE, MRO, Lab Equipment, and more. Manages PR-to-PO processes, supplier communications, vendor registration, catalog management, and contributes to regional category strategies. Serves as on-site procurement point of contact for Malaysia stakeholders, engages with requestors to influence specifications and cost outcomes, and ensures compliance with procurement policies. Supports supplier management, RFQs, negotiations, and local supplier development; drives spend reporting, KPI tracking, and governance per SAP Ariba/SAP ERP systems. Requires strong stakeholder management, independent work capability on-site, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and business English; travel up to 10% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or operational buying
- Working knowledge of major indirect categories such as MRO, facility services, IT, office, PPE, or professional services
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and business English
- Experience with SAP ERP and SAP Ariba (Guided Buying, SLP, Sourcing module)
