Job Summary
Conduct full life-cycle internal and external recruiting by screening resumes, interviewing candidates, administering assessments, and negotiating employment offers. Draft effective job postings, coordinate with hiring managers to maintain accurate headcount, and manage internal transfer processes including offer letters. Partner with staffing agencies and build pipelines through university and community partnerships while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Deliver weekly and monthly recruitment reports to management and provide backup HR support as required. Travel locally and regionally 5-10% to support regional hiring needs.
Required Qualifications
- Local to Hobart, IN
- Material Handling Industry Experience
- Experience Recruiting in Manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of combined Talent Acquisition and recruiting experience
- Proficient experience with iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Proficient sourcing capability with multiple sourcing methods and tools
- Proficient Hiring Manager and Candidate relationship management skills
- Proficient knowledge with processes around a Full-Cycle Recruitment process, including but not limited to: Sourcing, Interviewing, Candidate Evaluation, Negotiating, inboarding, and Onboarding
- Has a Candidate first approach
- Creative problem solving and willingness to learn new process, techniques, and technologies
- Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software
- Proficient knowledge of corporate recruiting best practices
- Proficient skills related to Priority Management in order to work independently and to make sound decisions and recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Travels locally and regionally between 5-10%
