Job Summary
Receive, unload, and verify shipment conditions while maintaining computer records. Handle, move, load, and unload materials using tow motors, forklifts, and other equipment to transport items to vehicles, loading docks, and storage areas. Perform counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking tasks. Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders, and floor sweepers. Connect hoses or pipes to load and unload chemicals, and dump materials like scrap metal. Open containers, fill orders, assist with inventory, and weigh materials. Comply with Daifuku's QMS policies and safety regulations, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and wearing required PPE. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm in a noisy environment with moving machinery.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to effectively build relationships with co-workers
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
- Ability to complete assigned training in a timely manner
- Good communications skills
- Attention to detail and organized
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment required to complete tasks safely
- Must observe policy and regulations regarding safety and security
- Must practice Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures for repair and maintenance of equipment

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred
