Job Summary
Improve manufacturing costs and pricing processes by analyzing cost standards for materials and labor, scrutinizing variances, and optimizing profitability. Investigate and propose process improvements for manufacturing expenses while supporting the Revit transition between finance and manufacturing. Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, assist with monthly closing, and review variance reporting in accordance with GAAP. Analyze inventory valuations, revenue recognition, and manufacturing wastes to proactively communicate findings to management. Participate in internal and external auditing activities as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring Sponsorship
- Must be available to work on-site daily in Hobart, Indiana
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of Cost Accounting experience in a public or private company
- Knowledge of ERP system SAP for manufacturing / accounting software and programs
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Finance/Controlling (FI/CO) modules including;MM, EWM, SD, PS, MM, PP etc.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
