ILUS - Brake Press Operator

Job Summary
Set up and operate press brakes and miscellaneous equipment to create, shape, and customize materials according to fabrication plans, blueprints, and job orders. Read detailed instructions to produce desired forms while following safety policies and PPE requirements. Check products against standards for conformance to specifications and observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions. Perform minor maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces. Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement. Maintain crane and forklift operation certifications. Work the second shift from 1:30am to 10:00pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Crane operation certification
- Forklift operation certification
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Availability to work on Saturdays as needed
