Job Summary

Teach daily living skills including cooking, budgeting, shopping, job readiness, and public transportation use to individuals recovering from acquired brain injuries. Coach clients on problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and emotional regulation while monitoring progress and documenting achievements. Support clients in meeting health, safety, and personal goals by connecting them with community resources that promote independence. Encourage confidence, self-advocacy, and personal growth throughout the recovery process. This full-time role offers $18/hour with medical, dental, and 401(k) benefits, including flexible part-time or per diem options.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) plus at least two (2) years of verifiable experience working with individuals with brain injuries
  • A bachelor's degree plus at least one (1) year of verifiable brain injury-related experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • A valid driver's license
  • At least three (3) years of a safe driving record
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations
  • Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Person-Centered certifications
  • Ability to obtain Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Person-Centered certifications
