Job Summary
Provide personalized instruction and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, developing creative activities tailored to individual learning styles. Conduct case management, including planning team meetings, assisting with assessments, and helping create individualized plans based on participant preferences. Collaborate with outside agencies, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties while managing weekly schedules. This role promotes self-sufficiency in activities of daily living, community involvement, and personal development for participants at InAlliance, a nonprofit supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least two years of direct instructional experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), preferably in an inclusive and integrated setting
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Must be able to verify employment eligibility under USCIS I-9 requirements
- CA Driver License
- Auto Insurance
- CPR/First Aid Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
