Job Summary
ILMS Solution Architect, Lead responsible for translating customer IT needs into architecture products, design specifications, and executable plans for ILMS modules (Asset Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Diplomatic Pouch and Mail, Fleet). You’ll guide cloud migration, integrate advanced technologies, modernize legacy ILMS modules, and mentor developers to grow tomorrow’s solutions architects. You’ll shape the digital solutions for global logistics and foreign affairs mission operations, identifying opportunities for growth and delivering architecture roadmaps and implementations aligned with State Department requirements. Required: 7+ years as a solution architect/technical lead, 3+ years supporting State Department ILMS, experience with ILMS modules, and a STEM bachelor's degree; security clearances (Secret/Top Secret) are noted; nice-to-have experience with ILMS modernization, federal IT stacks (Oracle, SAP, Ariba, .NET, SQL Server, AWS GovCloud), and federal cybersecurity frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust). Compensation range is provided; position may be remote/hybrid/onsite per work model.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a solution architect, technical lead, or systems engineer
- 3+ years of experience supporting State Department ILMS
- Experience with State Department ILMS modules (Asset Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Diplomatic Pouch and Mail, Fleet)
- Experience developing technical architectures supporting logistics workflows, data governance, identity management, and security controls specific to State Department systems
- Knowledge of ILMS workflow processes including asset management, logistics routing, shipping, warehouse operations, and procurement lifecycle steps
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
