Job Summary
ILI Technical Specialist responsible for verifying and evaluating ILI data, communicating findings to management and stakeholders, analyzing assessment results and recommending excavations per regulatory requirements and company procedures, preparing and auditing assessment reports, performing remaining strength calculations, investigating technical issues related to ILI data and tool performance, developing and maintaining ILI-related policies and best practices, and supporting planning, execution, and validation of ILI inspections with technical support on ILI technology, data interpretation, and integrity assessments. Requires knowledge of Integrity Management and PHMSA-related requirements, strong data analysis, effective communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities across complex datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Integrity Management
- Knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195
- Proficiency with computer applications and large datasets
- Ability to present technical information to all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and minimal supervision
- Proficiency with ILI data software (e.g., Resolve, Gemini, Iview, Pigprog, Envision, Pipeimage, NIMA, Rosoft, P6)
- Gas flow calculations knowledge (preferred)
- Anomaly selection and anomaly investigations (preferred)
- PHMSA audit experience (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (preferred)
- 5+ years ILI analysis or project management experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
