Job Summary
ILD Sales Consultant I/II/Sr. will lead sales and marketing efforts for Boehringer Ingelheim’s ILD products across specified territories, coordinating with ILD clinics and a range of HCPs, including pulmonologists and rheumatologists, while traveling overnight and occasionally on weekends. The role involves executing brand strategies, building relationships with ILD health care professionals, managing territory plans, coordinating with internal teams (clinical educators, payer relations, KEEs), developing speakers and advocates, and ensuring compliant, effective field execution within BI guidelines. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, established pharmaceutical sales experience (3+ years for I level; more for II/Sr), strong communication skills, and ability to travel with overnights/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful Pharmaceutical sales experience required
- Two-plus (2+) years of Specialty/Pulmonary experience preferred
- Strong communications skills are required
- Ability to travel with overnights and some weekend programs
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
