Job Summary
ILD Sales Consultant I/II/Sr. role focused on implementing ILD sales and marketing plans to maximize distribution and market penetration of Boehringer Ingelheim ILD products. Responsibilities include engaging ILD clinics and targeted pulmonologist/radiologist/advanced practice clinicians, handling sales activities in teaching and community hospitals, federal and military hospitals, and managing a geography that may require overnight travel and occasional night/weekend ILD meetings. Requires translating scientific information for ILD customers, developing territory plans, coordinating with internal BI stakeholders, maintaining ILD product knowledge, executing brand strategies, conducting pre-call planning, building ILD HCP networks, and ensuring timely administrative duties. Travel (overnight) and some weekend programs are expected; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction and possess a Bachelor’s Degree with strong communications skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful Pharmaceutical sales experience required; Two-plus (2+) years of Specialty/Pulmonary experience preferred
- Ability to travel with overnights and attendance at some weekend programs.
