Job Summary
Coordinate high-quality pharmaceutical care for Deaconess Illinois patients by managing drug distribution functions, including computerized order entry, prospective review, and IV admixture preparation. Optimize therapeutic outcomes through active communication with physicians and nurses to clarify or change orders, while documenting intervention results. Lead educational initiatives with colleagues to advance clinical competency and provide supervisory oversight of technicians to ensure safe and expedient drug delivery. Requires an Illinois-licensed Registered Pharmacist with one year of hospital experience. Full-time, part-time, or supplemental shifts available with evening/night and weekend incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy degree (e.g., B.Sc, Pharm.D) from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Illinois
