Job Summary
Answer patient inquiries and register new patients while updating demographics and collecting insurance information in the EHR. Maintain call quality by adhering to proper telephone etiquette and keeping the abandon rate to a minimum. Manage referral spreadsheets, online appointment requests, and patient faxes, plus return voicemails. Perform other tasks assigned by management. Requires high school diploma, one year of scheduling experience, and familiarity with Cerner. Hourly range $16.34–$24.52 with incentives for evening/night and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of one year relevant experience of patient scheduling
- Minimum of one year relevant experience with insurance verification
- Minimum of one year relevant experience with financial clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year relevant experience with cerner scheduling
