Job Summary
Conduct intensive in-home support to stabilize families in crisis, utilizing de-escalation skills to prevent child abuse, neglect, and out-of-home placements. Teach problem-solving, crisis management, parenting, communication, budgeting, and home maintenance while connecting families to community resources. Manage 2-3 cases simultaneously, visiting each family's home an average of 8-10 hours per week during 4-6-week IIS or 8-12-week IFRS interventions. Maintain 24/7 availability to assist with emerging crises and conflicts. This temporary 12-month position covers St. Charles County and reports to the Manager IIS IFRS.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
- OR a bachelor's degree in social work or other human services related field
- At least 21 years of age
- Pass background check
- Pass physical
- Pass drug screening
- A valid driver's license in the state you reside in
- Proof of current vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation
