Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies, including bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders. Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance while maintaining accurate records. Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment. Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and perform other duties as assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm with some weekends at a material recycling facility servicing over 20 million customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 year of experience operating heavy equipment
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday
