IHA-RN- Critical Care- OLGMC Lafayette ICU

RN – Critical Care at Ochsner Health, Lafayette ICU. Delivers nursing care through the Nursing Process within the ANA standards, directing and delegating to licensed and ancillary team members, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. Requires graduate from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, CPI certification (within 30 days), and ~1 year of RN experience. 8-week assignment typical. Emphasizes professional responsibility, cultural sensitivity, patient and staff safety, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to meet unit and department goals. Responsibilities include adapting care to diverse patient populations, teaching and assessing learning needs, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
