Job Summary
Collaborate with senior team members to deliver project and support tasks for Ignition-based SCADA systems in the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors. Provide customer support for new and existing systems while planning and executing designs, configurations, or enhancements to optimize availability, recoverability, performance, and integrity. Research and recommend new technologies, configurations, and enhancements, offering consulting advice on environmental capabilities. Work with vendor-agnostic expertise to integrate diverse third-party systems and develop custom utilities for automation. Ability to travel if required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, instrumentation & controls, or related field
- Must be self-motivated with a genuine passion for troubleshooting complex problems and a drive to find solutions independently
- Must be able to work in an open environment, multi-task, and collaborate with others
- Demonstrate aptitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Must enjoy technology
- Ability to travel, if required
Desired Qualifications
- Programming knowledge in Python and RESTful services preferred
- Familiarity with Inductive Automation Ignition platform preferred
