Job Summary

IGIV-C Technician I/II is responsible for isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental GMP tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling/disassembling production equipment, operating production equipment (filters, vessels, skids, columns), and maintaining records. Primary duties include general housekeeping, preparing solutions/reagents, monitoring processes via DCS, operating CIP circuits, and real-time documentation; additional responsibilities cover buffer prep, Zone 1/Zone 2 processing, sterile bulks, column processing, UF/DF processing, and calibration of pH/conductivity probes. Requires basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team in a rotating 12-hour shift; vaccination for hepatitis B may be required; lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety protocols are typical occupational demands.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma OR GED required
  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 months as a Technician in his/her respective department before receiving consideration for advancement to IGIV-C Tech II.
