Job Summary
IGIV-C Technician I/II responsible for isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing core GMP duties including equipment assembly/disassembly, cleaning, CIP, operating production equipment, monitoring processes via DCS, and maintaining accurate records/logs. Tech I duties include housekeeping, preparation of solutions, handling of cleaning reagents, safe operation of equipment and forklift, while Tech II expands to GMP audits, equipment preparation to standards, troubleshooting, and advanced processing like chromatography (IGIV-C), UF/DF, and column packing. Requires high school diploma or GED; ability to work in rotating 12-hour shifts; strong math, computer, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork skills; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.
