Job Summary
IFRS Expert with French needed to lead complex IFRS guidance, support consolidated and standalone financial reporting, prepare technical accounting position papers, and collaborate with business teams to structure contracts per IFRS. Responsibilities include serving as the primary IFRS subject-matter expert, supporting month-end close and quarterly reviews, coordinating with internal/external auditors, and contributing to internal trainings to uplift the team. Requires 5+ years in financial reporting/consolidation/audit with IFRS exposure, deep IFRS knowledge (IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 38), SAP experience, advanced Excel, and strong stakeholder management. English fluency and French communication are essential; professional ACCA/CIMA certification is advantageous. The role offers flexible working hours and Home Office arrangements within a global company environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or audit with exposure to IFRS
- Strong expertise in IFRS (IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 38)
- Fluent in English and good communication skills in French
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Professional certification (ACCA or CIMA) completed or in progress is a strong advantage
