Job Summary
IFRS 18 Project Accountant required to join a dedicated team implementing IFRS 18 across the Group’s consolidated reporting. Responsibilities include interpreting IFRS 18 methodology, designing and testing new reporting layouts and disclosures, liaising with Finance reporting teams to update source ledgers, contributing to project and BAU documentation, and supporting dry-runs ahead of adoption. Strong IFRS and consolidation fundamentals, ability to own defined reporting deliverables in a deadline-driven environment, and experience with consolidation systems are essential. Beneficial experience with CCH Tagetik and/or Workiva Wdesk. The role emphasizes collaboration across Group Consolidation and Reporting, Technical Accounting, Technology, and business unit finance teams to deliver enhanced data structures and external reporting outputs. Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong grounding in IFRS reporting and group consolidation
- Experience supporting accounting or reporting change initiatives or implementations
- Ability to interpret technical accounting methodology and translate to practical reporting outputs
- Experience in a controlled, deadline-driven reporting environment
- Experience with consolidation systems and reporting tools
- CCH Tagetik and/or Workiva Wdesk experience would be beneficial
